Baxter stirs. Wisps of smoke billow around her.

The cabin is tilted on its side, leaving her hanging at an odd angle.

BAXTER " Did we do it? "

OMNI " Yes. Node Two-Twelve is officially... offline. "

BAXTER " Where's Clarke? "

On the monitor, various blurry images appear.

Finally, one showcases Clarke as she crawls for the node board.

BAXTER (CONT’D) " Unbelievable. Help me down. "

Back at the AeroFox, the hatch explodes open.

Baxter crawls out of the airlock.

As she stands, she scans the devastated tower.

In the background, Clarke has made it to the nodeboard.

She picks it up and stands. Baxter shouts at her.

Clarke turns to see Baxter and struggles to move faster.

She staggers toward the rover.

An exhausted Baxter catches up to Clarke and grabs her by the shoulder.

BAXTER (CONT’D) " Not so fast. "

Despite her sickly state, Clarke turns with viciousness.

CLARKE " Get your hands off me! I’m taking this board and driving to another node. You can’t stop me. "

BAXTER " No. You're done, kiddo. "

: 258—16

Baxter snatches the node-board from her...

...and BREAKS IT in half across her knee!

Incensed, Clarke grabs Baxter and throws them both to the aeroshell.

The women tumble against the base of the node.

Baxter uses this to gain the advantage.

She pins the weakened Clarke against the tower.

BAXTER (CONT’D) " Goddamn it! Stop! "

Without warning -- before they can continue their tussle -- the ground starts SHAKING! Around the edge of the aeroshell, the nearby geoglyph substrate SHIFTS and BUCKLES!

Giant shards of pyrite EXPAND and quickly GROW over the surface.

Terrified, the two women cling to the side of the node as rocky TENDRILS slide past them.

Then, as quickly as it began, the growth comes to a halt.

The tendrils solidify around the ship.

She stares at the new, elaborate geoglyph FORMATION.

It has an organic, yet mathematical order to it.

BAXTER (CONT’D) " Omni, are you there? "

Only the wind can be heard as Baxter extends a hand to Clarke.

The young woman takes it, standing shakily.

BAXTER (CONT’D) " Omni... Please come in. "

Omni's voice breaks the silence, startling them.

OMNI (COMM VOICE) " I'm here. "

BAXTER " Are you alright? "

OMNI (COMM VOICE) " Yes. I believe I’ve made contact. "

BAXTER " What did you do? "

OMNI (COMM VOICE) " I sent an E-M-P of my own. "

Apparently, this formation is the result.

BAXTER " Are you able to talk to it? "

OMNI (COMM VOICE) " I can't per se. I do detect... something. Indecipherable. Complex. I have an idea. (tentative) Darcy, will you come closer? "

OMNI " Yes. You have to trust me. "

OMNI " Trust me. "

Baxter looks at Clarke, nodding in agreement with Omni.

BAXTER " You have nothing else to lose. "

Hesitant, Clarke looks from Baxter toward the geoglyph.

EXT. SHIELD NODE, AEROSHELL - MINUTES LATER

The TerraCat peels out.

The Darcy-glyph towers behind as the women drive away. The terminator storm rages in the distance.
