[ Clarke Breaths heavily as she moves forward ]

CLARKE: I... I’m fine.

Clarke takes stock of her overwhelming surroundings.

She turns to look back at the AeroFox to see how far she‘s gone.

Lightning strikes a mountain top creating a huge CLAP of thunder that reverberates through the area!

Clarke is increasingly terrified.

She turns back to look at the remote AstroBug.

[ The Beacon of the ASTRO BUG flares in the distance ]

The distance seems insurmountable.

Clarke looks up. Through a break in the clouds, a brilliant swath of blue AURORAE cascades across the sky.

Just then, the howling wind increases!

Immobilized by the sensory overload, she places her hands over her ears and falls to her knees!

CLARKE (CONT'D): God... Make it stop!
Desperate, Dyson attempts to console her from afar.

DYSON (COMM VOICE): Darcy, it’s okay. Try to relax. They warned us about this. ‘Planet sickness’. Remember?
CLARKE: Whatever they said, it didn’t prepare me for this....

A distant rumble can be heard. Clarke takes her hands away from her head.
CLARKE (CONT'D): You hear that?
DYSON (COMM VOICE) Hear what?

Clarke looks over at the nearby volcano to her left.

[ She gasps ]

She reaches for her Laser Ranger.

Pulling it to her eyes, she witnesses a spectacular burst of LAVA from its summit!

[ Through the RANGER she sees the massive eruption up close! ]

A resultant QUAKE causes cracks in the surrounding ice!

Clarke is knocked to the ground! She loses her grip on the Laser Ranger and it clatters onto the frozen surface.
CLARKE: AAHHH!

DYSON (COMM VOICE): Darcy?! You okay? Come in!

[ Nearby the Ice continues to split and suddenly stops! ]

CLARKE: That volcano. It’s erupting. Causing quakes. Oh my god, the AstroBug...

Clarke grabs the binoculars...

... and frantically looks over at the beacon of the AstroBug.

[ She Centers on the ASTRO BUG ]

[ And Zooms in ]
CLARKE (CONT'D): It looks like they're still okay.

Clarke stands in determination.
CLARKE (CONT'D): I have to get to them...

CLARKE (CONT'D): While there’s still time.
DYSON (COMM VOICE): I get it. Just be careful!

CLARKE: I will. Get off the comm and let me focus!
Clarke takes off into the gale of flurries, heading for the AstroBug at a full sprint.
